Learn About The Destinations

Our trip kicks off in Tokyo and consist of 5 nights exploring the neon-lit streets of the largest city in the world. We’ll spend a dominant portion of our time visiting the likes of Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akihabara, and Harajuku as each provide unique experiences only achievable in Japan. We’ll also have a number of traditional Japanese meals to immerse ourselves in the wonders of the Japanese foodie culture. From the cosplay & maid cafe filled streets of Akihabara to the trend-setting and hip streets of Harajuku – we’ll experience it all!

Let’s Explore The Tokyo Neighborhoods

Let’s Learn About Some Popular Food In Tokyo

After exploring a large portion of Tokyo we’ll take a small break and make our way south down the coast to Kamakura. Kamakura is a seaside city which was once the political center of medieval Japan. Between the surrounding mountains and the vast sea, it was a perfect stronghold. Modern-day Kamakura is more a resort town that still features amazing hiking trails and dozens of Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines on display for frequent tourism. After fully exploring Kamakura, we’ll make our way to the famed Enoshima Island most known for its folklore about the love between a goddess and dragon.

As we take another day to venture outside of the city limits we’ll find ourselves in the port city Yokohama. Yokohama will provide the team with a day of fun and excitement as we recover from the past few days of traditional Japanese culture. While in Yokohama, we’ll checkout a number of unique attractions including not only the largest Chinatown in Japan, but also the cup-of-noodle museum, an amazing observations deck featuring 360 degree views of the surroundings, and an amusement park situated next to a seaside garden.

What’s Japan without a few photos of Mt. Fuji? As we make our way south to Hakone, we’ll have the opportunity to enjoy some great sights of Japan’s most prominent landmark. Hakone is a mountainous town known for it’s hot spring resorts and amazing views of Mt. Fuji. While in Hakone the team will venture across Lake Ashi on a pirate ship and climb a nearby mountain (via gondola) to taste some volcanic boiled eggs as well as catch some the sights and smells of the sulphur springs of Owakudani Valley.
